Forgotten is the opening number of a musical (in development) about a man trying to stop himself from vanishing in the after-life. After his remaining possessions are auctioned off by his daughter, recently-deceased Arthur Morton finds his soul split amongst each item as it goes into the possession of a new owner. Struggling to remember all aspects of himself, he must find a way to bring the items together again from beyond the grave, while grappling with the realization that his daughter may already be moving on from his death.
